A lot of you may not know this but, Mr. Hansen is an actor who has appeared in several movies. In this article we will explore his acting career and how he became an actor. Staff Writers, Antonio Montiel and Ruben Gomez asked him a few interesting questions.
Question: What movies or tv shows were you in?
Answer: I was on the tv shows, To Tell The Truth (ABC, 2021)and Castle by Andrew W. Marlowe (ABC, 2011), and the movie A Bear Story by Vincent Mtzlplck (2003).
Question: Who or what inspired you to start acting?
Answer: I did acting in high and middle school. In middle school I was acting in boxing shorts and kids were throwing paper clips at me, which then inspired me to start acting.
Question: When did you get the idea to start acting?
Answer: I really decided to pursue it when I was in college.
Question: How do you prepare for a new role?
Answer: I read, analyze a script, create a background for a character, and memorize.
Question: How long have you been acting for?
Answer: I’ve been acting since 1979 professionally.
Question: How do you work with directors or cast members?
Answer: Acting is collaborative and you have to show ideas.
Question: How do you stay motivated during a long production?
Answer: You have to realize that the audience whether in tv or in person are seeing your performance for the first time.
Question: What challenges have you faced on set and how did you overcome it?
Answer: There are times when you don’t make enough money and are away from your family.
Question: If you had the chance to put something on a billboard what would it be?
Answer: I would put “Be Good People.”
Question: What have you enjoyed most about your acting career?
Answer: I enjoyed doing Broadway shows, like “Miss Saigon” and “Mamma Mia.”
Question: What advice would you give to a young person that wants an acting career?
Answers: Make sure you really want it and study it every way you can.
